Short Walks - These are gentle 10K or 3 hours walks using mostly lanes and side roads. Suitable for everyone.
Short Hikes - These are 10K or 3 to 4 hours with some hills and rough terrain. Suitable for lots of people with a good average physical health.
Moderate Hikes - These are 13K to 16K or 5 to 6 hours cross country hikes with up to 800 meters of ascent and descent. Steep ground and some scrambling on occasion. A good general fitness level required.
Hard Hikes - These are 18K to 25K or 7 to 9 hours cross country hikes with up to 1200 meters of ascent and descent. Steep ground and some scrambling on occasion. A very good general fitness level required.
Coastal Walks - These are 20K to 25K or 6 to 7 hours long distance, flat walks using boardwalks and promenades and roads along the coastline. There are some hills on occasion. A good general fitness level required.
